The Jump 4 Books, Inc Board of Directors is seeking new members to champion childhood literacy and broaden underserved communities' access to quality reading materials.
The board helps ensure that the organization is executing its mission and values and produces positive results. The board is a critical element in developing Jump 4 Books, Inc as an effective organization. The board’s duties include 1) selecting and evaluating the organization’s activities 2) approving the organization’s budget; 4) fulfilling legal responsibilities; 5) providing oversight functions; 6) promoting Jump 4 Book’s mission and values; 7) cultivating relationships with donors, funders, and stakeholders to promote fundraising; and 8) taking an active role in strategic planning and other goal setting. The board is an energetic group of individuals with an interest in educational disparities in underserved communities working towards a common goal.
